Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all??… so I finally tried out the double-ended Tony Moly Crystal Lovely Eyes Eyeliner I bought from the haul in Annandale. I don’t know what took me so long to try this out. I reckon my wardrobe doesn’t really include items that would go well with this eyeliner. I don’t normally wear makeup on the weekends unless I’m going somewhere jazzy, so I thought it would be difficult to wear this in a manner appropriate for work. Speaking of not wearing makeup, I am sure you can tell I am wearing no face makeup in these photos. Not even blush! I was just in that kind of mood this morning!
I must say that the actual pencil part of the eyeliner does not show up on me very well. I think it’s just not highly pigmented. I feel like I could totally pull off purple eyeliner but this one did not give me any color. The powdery part shows up very well on me. I used it on my lower lash line over black liner (MUFE Aqua liner). It gives a nice little pop to the prude that was me today!
When I first purchased this liner I was surprised that I actually liked it. I actually put it down and gave it a second chance after I found out there was more to it. This has me curious about other colors of this product.
The eyeliner lasted a good eight hours. It’s not waterproof, so if you are the type to rub on your eyes, this will definitely rub off. I felt under the weather towards the end of the day and kept wiping under my eyes and of course, the liner disappeared.
What do you guys think? Do you think you would pull of purple eyes?
