CLIO Kill Black Waterproof Pen Liner Review

Saturday, March 14, 2015

This is my new quick-cat-eye-go-to eyeliner. I have been using the Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner for some time, but this here is what I reach for when I am in  hurry. The thing I like most about the CLIO Kill Black Waterproof Pen Liner, is that it's the perfect applicator! I find eyeliner pens to be easiest to use, but the felt tip on this is the most perfect I have ever used. It's nice and firm, but not too firm, which is what I actually dislike about the Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner, and it's flexible enough to just flick your wrist and BAM! Perfect cat eye! I am wearing this eyeliner here and here.

This eyeliner is BLACK. I mean really black and I love that. I never have to go over it twice, unless I mess up, and as I said before it's so easy to use. The cap has some sort of springy mechanism so when you close it, it feels like the tip is going inside something (heh heh... but really!). I don't know if that has anything to do with longevity and how long it takes to dry out, but I like knowing that it's closed properly.

As far as its waterproof claims... I don't know about that. I have ridiculously oily skin and my lids are no exception. I find this eyeliner is gone from the inner corners of my eyes by the time I get home, and it's a breeze to remove with makeup remover. It does not smudge, so it may be waterproof in some way but it's no Aqua Liner, which I have to scrub off my eyes.

In a nutshell, I love this liner. I would definitely purchase again, unless for some reason it dries out in a month (so annoying). It is also available at Soko Glam ($20) and Beautynetkorea ($10.80).
