In Bloom: ColourPop Lippie Pencil in Julep and Playing Around with AnastasiaThursday, May 07, 2015
The ColourPop Lippie Pencil in Julep is described as a bright red coral. On me, it showed up more coral than anything and it wasn't super bright, but that's the way I prefer it (lest I look like a clown). I once again used the pencil as a full on lip color. Application was effortless, starting out with lining the lips and then working my way towards the inner lip. I did use a little bit of lip balm before hand to prevent dryness.
The color stayed on my lips the whole day through eating. It did lift when I ate oily potatoes >_< but that's pretty damn good either way. I only reapplied at the end of the day.
I also had a bit of extra time in the morning and decided to play around with the Anastasia Artist Palette. I used Dusty Rose on my inner lid, Orange You Fancy on center lid, Baby I'm a Star on crease. The eyeliner is Clio's Kill Black Waterproof Pen Liner.
So far it seems like the red and pink lippie pencils perform the best one me. I'm also enjoying the Anastasia Artist Palette a lot more than I thought I would.
