Two Snails, One Stone: Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack

Well, it’s actually a bee and a snail and I guess they had a baby and produced this mask…

First off, I had a like-dislike relationship the Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack ($3.00). I really love the construction of the mask, in particular the eye flaps that allow you to cover the area underneath your eyes. I was confused at first when I saw this but once I put the mask on, celebration began!

And then it abruptly ended…

The mask had a smell to it… it smelled like ramen packet — shrimp flavor or something. Did not like that at all! I figured, hey whatever as long as it does something… but no. Not even that. I left the mask on for 20 minutes and didn’t notice any difference. My skin was not more smooth, supple, or brighter. The mask was properly saturated with serum, it just didn’t do anything. And it smelled bad! Grrr

I wonder if it says “smells like ramen sauce”…?
Ingredients

The ingredients had  me excited, but they just didn’t perform for me. A little surprised also because it seems to have good reviews in the beauty world (aside from what I just read about their contaminated essence fiasco…). I guess it’s truly YMMV!

High hopes…
