Seriously Loving Sephora’s New Gel Serum Concealer | Photo Overload | Review

I really don’t think I would be sticking my foot in my mouth by saying the Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer has been the best beauty-related purchase I’ve made all year. Likely the best $14.00 I’ve ever spent! πŸ™‚ I will let the photos do the talking but I wanted to cover the basics quickly.

I purchased the concealer in the color Pot de Creme (16). For reference, I’m probably NC50 and I wear 85 in Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet+ (using this in photos) and 178 in MUFE HD Foundation (which appears to be discontinued and replaced by the Ultra HD collection). Winter is Cooming (in my Jon Snow voice) so I’ll probably get one shade lighter but I think this will still work for me.

Initially, I thought it was weird that not much product comes out with the applicator and you have to dip it in there a few times, but I really appreciate it. It allows me to not over-apply and waste product (or it simply means there isn’t that much in there to being with, but positive thoughts!). I use this solely underneath my eyes. Once applied, I blend it out with my Elf Studio Angled Contour Brush and move on to my foundation. The results are fabulous! There’s no going back for me. My worst nightmare would be if they discontinued this. Perhaps I should stock up just in case…

On to the photos! I’ve taken them at different angles and in different settings (indoors and outdoors) so you all can see how wonderful it is. Oh, and did I mention it stays put all day? Just amazing!

Totally satisfied with my purchase. Sephora continues to impress!
