Innisfree Sea Salt Perfect Cleanser

Sometimes it’s exhausting writing about lackluster products but I think it’s necessary. That said, today’s review is Innisfree Sea Salt Perfect Cleanser. I didn’t find anything particularly wow-ing about this and don’t use it often for that reason. However, I did find an interesting use for it.

Innisfree Sea Salt Perfect Cleanser

Remember microneedling (at home)? Believe it or not, I now only use this cleanser after using my microneedling instrument because of the salt. Sounds crazy, right? My thought was that although throwing salt in wounds is painful, it cleans and speeds up the healing process; that’s why people used to do it. And that’s why I use the cleanser after purposefully puncturing my skin with 1000 needles. The process is a little bit different from my normal routine. I will cleanse my face at night with black soap, microneedle, apply my serum and essences of choice, and lightly moisturize at night. Then in the morning, I wash my face with the sea salt cleanser. At this point, my face is still healing from the needles because the salt definitely burns. It’s not unbearable and I like to think it allows me to needle more often.

Here are the ingredients:

The cleanser has a pretty thick texture with large sea salt granules in them, which probably helps with exfoliation. After use, my face is on the squeaky, dry side. It doesn’t have any advanced properties, such as removing makeup.

Overall, I wouldn’t purchase this again. There are so many decent cleansers out there and having to find a use for one just so you won’t waste it is a bit extra for me. I’d love to hear from folks this did work for.

I purchased the Innisfree Sea Salt Perfect Cleanser from Amazon.
