My Scheming Mask Trilogy: Mandelic Acid Brightening | Apple Brightening & Hydrating | Oolong Tea Oil Cut

I picked up three of these science-looking My Scheming masks on my last little weekend trip to NYC: the Mandelic Acid Brightening Mask, the Apple Brightening & Hydrating Mask, and the Oolong Tea Oil Cut Mask. I picked them up from oo35mm for $1.75 each! Great price! I don’t really ever purchases boxes of sheet masks because I’m fickle, but I would certainly consider it for these masks.

How long I used it

I used the Mandelic Acid Brightening mask and the Apple Brightening & Hydrating mask for 45 min with the help of my Daiso Silicone Mask. I used the Oolong Tea Oil Cut mask for 20 min on its own.

Short term results

All of the masks were very thin, very-well fitting, and drenched in essence. The Mandelic Acid Brightening mask stung around my mouth but was otherwise good. I figured it was burny because of the mandelic acid, which makes sense. It left my skin temporarily brightened and bouncy. The Apple Brightening & Hydrating mask was definitely hydrating and also temporarily brightened. The Oolong Tea Oil Cut mask was the most underwhelming of the three, but I suspect that’s because I left it on for a shorter period of time.

Long term results

I can’t speak to long term results because as I said before I am fickle! But these masks have made me challenge myself to buy and use a box of one kind of sheet mask to see what the results would be. I really liked this mask, and My Scheming masks in general.
