Hey all. I just wanted to share with you another nude lip in my stash (for dark skin). Sometimes, I like to go for a really subtle lip, especially for work. I usually use a nude lip when I do a smoky eye, or when my eye makeup is a bit overwhelming so as not to appear as if I am wearing too much makeup. The lipstick is from NYX Cosmetics and it’s called B52 ($4.00), It’s an old one from their extra creamy round lipstick collection but still very much influential in my lipstick collection.

As undesirable as extra creamy sounds to me, it’s not really that creamy. It’s moisturizing enough that I don’t need any lip balm underneath but it’s not slippery or anything like that and definitely comfortable. I am partial to liquid lipsticks, preferably matte, but it’s incredibly hard to find one that is nude for my skin tone. I usually have to go with traditional lipsticks, if I am not using my Make Up For Ever Aqua Rouge in Rosewood. I apologize for not showing a pic of the product, but it has gone through some extreme wear and tear, AKA, I broke it! As a result, I am forced to apply this with a lip brush which is kind of annoying, but I refuse to waste this as I really like to color. It’s not very long-lasting but at $4.00 I’d say this performs above average. You definitely need to reapply after eating, but otherwise it’s fine.
