Just Kickin’ It with KIKO Soft Touch Blush in Classic Rose (111)

Blushes kind of piss me off. I never want to spend money on them because they all turn out looking the same (to me) on my skin tone. I usually do not purchase any other blush besides Nars, just because I’m stubborn and they are so pigmented, but as a product junkie, sometimes my curiosity takes over and I am compelled to venture out of my comfort zone. I usually go for reds, pinks, and corals, and they all end up looking the same color on me or very close (I am a huge fan of highlighters and bronzers so this doesn’t include those).

This rant brings me to a blush I recently bought :). It’s the KIKO Soft Touch Blush in Classic Rose (111) ($10-11) and I don’t actually have anything bad to say about it! It’s no Nars and it’s not that pigmented (contrary to the swatch) but in layers, it’s beautiful. But it also falls into the “it looks the same on me” category. Nonetheless, I don’t regret the buy.

This is about four layers of blush. I am also wearing CoverFX Illuminating Bronzer on the top of my cheekbone. I was really surprised I had to build this blush up four times to get this pigmentation. The swatch was only two swipes. At the moment I have three blushes in rotation; this is one by default until I acquire a better one πŸ™‚
