Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Crayon – Dress Rehearsal | Photos | Swatches | Review

I picked up the Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Crayon at Boots (I think was was 3 or 4 pounds) while I was in London. I’m a huge fan of lip crayons for the simple fact that you don’t need a mirror to apply them! I just treat them as I do a lip balm and it turns out fine on me. I chose the color Dress Rehearsal, which is a pinkey-nude on my dark skin. I had to pass the crayon several times over my lips to get the pigmentation I desired.

One drawback to this is that if your lips are dry, the product settles in the lines of the lips and it gets worse the more you pile on. So start with lubricated and possibly exfoliated lips and you should be fine.

Overall, I like the crayon when I don’t put too much on. It lasts about 3-4 hours and needs touch-ups throughout the day. It doesn’t have a particular scent and feels pretty moisturizing. I foresee getting a lot of use out of this one.
