The Thirst is Real | Hask Macadamia Oil Hair Products

So real. When it comes to my hair, the number one thing for me, hands down, is keeping it moisturized. My hair thrives on moisture. And also on cornrows, but that’s another story.

Hask Macadamia Oil line is branded around treating the hair thirst and is ideal for dry, overprocessed, or damaged hair; all things I can totally relate to. Therefore, I was delighted when the brand sent over* the shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioning hair treatment, and the moisturizing shine oil!

First of all, the smell is heavenly! It’s smells exactly what one would expect a macadamia scented product to smell like: nutty. It’s not overwhelming and lingers for a few days.

The current state of my hair:

I used these products right after relaxing my edges. My last full relaxer was in December; that is, I relaxed my entire head. I usually only do this three or four times a year. I do, however, like to keep my edges relaxed to blend better with whatever hair I am wearing. After relaxing, I used a neutralizing shampoo after rinsing out the relaxer and then started with the Macadamia Moisture Shampoo followed by the conditioner.

Free of: sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors.
Dry hair is thirsty hair! Quench its thirst with HASK Macadamia Oil Moisturizing Shampoo. Infused with antioxidant-rich macadamia oil to replenish and hydrate, this shampoo gently cleanses while it repairs and adds moisture, leaving even the most parched hair whisper-soft and incredibly shiny. Ideal for dry, damaged or color-treated hair, this shampoo’s delicious scent will also delight your senses.

I left the conditioner on for about 3 minutes and washed it out. Next, I used the Hydrating Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment. The packet says to leave on for 10 minutes, but I left it on for 30. I also used my trapper hat method for generating heat, in order to get a real deep treatment. I used more than half a packet for my whole head, applying extremely generously. Like I said, my hair loves moisture. 🙂

Macadamia Oil Hydrating Deep Conditioner with keratin is an ultra-restorative, moisturizing treatment that rejuvenate dry, damaged, chemically treated or over processed hair. Macadamia oil, native to Australia, is known for its absorbing, deep penetrating and cuticle sealing qualities while leaving even the most damaged hair soft and nourished for incredible shine. Treat your hair with this nourishing reconstructive conditioner, formulated to bring life back into your luscious looking locks.

After 30 minutes I washed it out and followed up with the Moisturizing Shine Oil, which is the gem in this product line.

I love that the shampoo and conditioner do not use sulfates ad I love the smell. I had plenty of dandruff before washing and after all was said and done I felt I had a clean scalp. I don’t generally use shampoo because of the drying nature of them and usually stick to cleansing conditioners or co-washing, but there’s nothing like a fresh shampoo! I didn’t find anything mind-blowing about the deep conditioning hair treatment. I think if you are partial to lighter conditioners you will love it. But that Moisturizing Oil is amazing! I used it on wet hair and dry hair and it just makes my hair feel so silky smooth! Especially on dry hair.

Dry hair is thirsty hair! Quench its thirst with HASK Macadamia Oil Moisturizing SHINE® Oil. This lightweight, instantly absorbing oil is alcohol-free and rich in Omega 7, Vitamin E & Antioxidants.
