KIKO Glowing Pearl Cushion Highlighter (02)

I haven’t been having much luck in the highlighter department that much lately because my skin has been holding a mutiny against me for some time and I’ve only recently been able to quell the rebellion. It just seemed like when I use highlighter, it just emphasizes my pores and acne scars. Sob! So when I came across the Kiko Glowing Pearl Cushion Highlighter 02 ($10.00), I thought it was interesting because it wasn’t in powder form and I thought maybe this might be a possible answer to my problem.

I must say, I really do like the cushion highlighter. It contains 1.5 ml of product, so I think it will last me some time. I chose the color 02 – Dynamic Coral, but it isn’t coral at all. I swatched the color 01 and I thought the color was off for me so I settled for this one and I am quite happy with my purchase. To dispense the product, I had to turn the dial at the bottom of the applicator quite a few times before the highlight decided to come out. But when it did, I was pleasantly surprised by the payoff.

The highlight lasts on me for 6 hours before fading slightly. For the price, I think this was a good buy! And I might add that this is my first “cushion” product and I like it more than I thought I would.

I think I tried a highlighter once, but I don't really wear makeup too often.

What a handy beauty tool. Makes putting on highlighter easy and less messy.

It looks good, I've never tried it out before. My make up skills are minimal.

I like the lasting power of your highlighter. I am use to it fading fast. Use to think it was the color choice or the powder.

Yeah, it was a surprise to me! I didn't think I would like this as much as I did.

I don't have a clue about highlighter, but I like the look better than blush. Maybe you will do a tut on application ;-p

With this, I dab it on with the cushion and blend with my fingers.

I'm like you, not a clue. I just started wearing blush in the last five years or so. I can't keep up with all the trends but it is a lovely look on you Indya. I am with Keish, hit us up with a tutorial about it….
