New Stuff I Bought: Glow Recipe Avocado Mask, Biossance Love to Travel Set, Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder, Sephora Lychee Face Mask, and more!

Hey all! I just wanted to share with you some of the stuff I recently bought, and will be reviewing in the near future. Here’s a first look and initial thoughts:

Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask

I had been eyeing this ever since I saw it on the Sephora website. I haven’t tried it on my face yet, but I did notice the scent might be problematic!

Sephora Lychee Face Mask

After falling in love with the Sephora Watermelon Mask, I was naturally curious when I saw that there was a new Lychee Face Mask. This mask is for “ultra moisturizing and brightening” and looks as if it’s just for the face as opposed to the face and neck.

Farmacy Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm

I’m not sure what took me so long to check out this lip balm; it’s been hovering between my cart and wishlist for some time. I have worn it once and so far so good! It’s moisturizing and there’s a slight tingle (mint?) to it.

Biossance Love to Travel Set

I picked up this set because there were two products in it that I had never tried and one product I have and feel very fond of. The set includes a new cleansing oil, a new retinol cream, and their rose squalane oil.

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder

I picked up the travel-sized version of this powder in case the powder came off too white, a problem I have been having with setting powders recently. I recently shattered my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette (!) so this was a good reason to see if this performed the same way (or better) than Dim Light, the shade I often use to set my under eyes.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lipstick Duo

If you look to the right, this is part of my currently coveted block. I have been wanting to own one of these shades since I first swatched them. Nordstrom as a two pack for $29.00, so naturally I had to take advantage. The shades included are Lilac and Ruby, both of which I have worn already. A review is coming soon!

ColourPop x Shayla Perception Eyeshadow Palette

I actually picked this and the Supernova shadows up during Black Friday weekend. I exercised so much patience throughout the year and finally bought this palette after deciding between this and UD’s On the Run. I’m still currently testing it, but the shades are really pretty.

ColourPop Supernova Shadows

I picked up two shades in the Supernova shadows and I have some thoughts! I had been looking at these for a long time, as I figured they’d be long-lasting as liquid shadows. These are pretty shimmery, which makes them look really dressy, but I wore them to work anyway. Review coming sooner than later on these.

Samples:

Hourglass Caution Mascara – meh, wasn’t impressed by the brush or what it did for my lashes. The brush holder in this sample is just too small.

Murad 500 Point Reward – this included one of my favorite skincare products, the Hydrodynamic Quenching Essence and a couple other items I’ve not tried before including the Eye Lift Firming Treatment and the Nutrient-Charged Water Gel. The AHA/BHA exfoliating Cleanser used to be something I purchased over and over again, when I was more disciplined about beauty products. 🀷
