Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Haul

I thought I might make out with more than I did from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale – I had 32 items on my wish list. I ended up with just a few things from the sale and some regular all-year-around stuff. The best part is, it’s all still available at the great prices I picked them up for.

Briogeo Healthy Hair Wonders Set ($49) was one of the first things that sparked my interest because I love their Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask ($38 by itself) and can never have too many jars of it! For $49, you get:
– Full-size Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioning Spray
– Travel-size Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfood Hair Mask
– Travel-size Don’t Despair, Repair! Strengthening Treatment Oil
– Full-size Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask

Coola Suncare Full Spectrum 360° Sunscreen Set ($46) had one thing I have been eyeing for over a year or two – a full-size Full Spectrum 360° Sun Silk Drops, which is $46 by itself. It was incredibly easy to move forward with this one. You get:
-Full-size Full Spectrum 360° Sun Silk Drops Organic Face Sunscreen SPF 30
-Travel-size Full Spectrum 360° Refreshing Water Mist Organic Face Sunscreen SPF 18
-Travel-size Classic Sunscreen Spray Fragrance-Free SPF 50
Those two items were really the only sale items in beauty I picked up. The others are things that I have had my eye on and decided to get as well. I received a sample of the Clarins Hydrating Gentle Calming Cleanser and instantly fell in love with it. This cleanser brought me so much joy the first time I used it I knew right away I’d be picking up the full-size tube. The scent is amazing and it just foams up so beautifully. I never thought a “regular” cleanser would make me feel so happy, but Clarins is really good at making me happy.

Which leads me to the next item I picked up – the Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm. Now… I certainly hesitated picking up this $25 lip balm, but man, I am so glad I took a chance on it. I have been struggling with dry, peeling lips and wanted something I didn’t have to wipe off in order to maintain smooth kissable lips all day. THIS IS THAT LIP BALM. Listen… I’ll write a love letter about it later but this is the most effective lip balm I have ever tried. Ever.

Finally, I picked up Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. I chose the shade Manaus based on the model swatches and it’s a pretty good match. I basically just wanted a lighter foundation for the summer and just in general as I’m moving further away from full-on matte foundations. More on that later.
