The Kiko Double Dare Eyeshadow and Eyeliner ($12.00) is supposed to be a long-lasting, double ended shadow and pencil combination. While it is a double-ended shadow and pencil combination, long-lasting, it is not (at least not for my oily ass lids).

I really like the packaging and the convenience the product appears to have. I’m a huge fan of multitasking and this is seemingly a really good one. I have had better luck with Kiko eyeshadows by using a primer, but I have yet to try one of their eyeshadows on its own and it’s able to withstand my obviously angry eyelids.
I tested this out in pretty normal conditions; I didn’t even leave the house. I used the shadow part all over my lid and the eyeliner on my lower lash line/water line. I attempted lining my top lashes but the two textures were not compatible. After three hours, I experience major creasing.

The color combination is interesting as well, although I think if I reach for this again, I will try reversing the order and use the Teal as the shadow and the gold as liner for my lower lash line.
Word to the wise: always use a primer with Kiko shadows. Kiko actually sells one, but I find my Inglot primer does the job with every shadow I have tried it with just fine.

Disappointing to read that the texture and creasing were an issue. I have been looking for an eyeliner with the tip like this for a while, so easy and fuss free to apply. The search continues,..
