But I was expecting something different, and I think that's where the mild disappointment comes in. Now, I have never used a tinted moisturizer before because they don't seem to be readily available a person with my skin tone, and I have always opted for full-coverage foundation. But lately, for the sake of time, and on some days I just haven't felt like a whole routine, I put in my mind that I needed a tinted moisturizer.
When I got it I squeezed some in my hand and rubbed it on my face as I would a regular moisturizer... and this did not turn out well LOL. I soon found that this had to be applied with a brush, which was disappointing in some way, but on the other hand, having the color all over my hands was not the business! One other thing to mention, is that I have oily skin. I figured the fact that this was matte, would maybe make this somewhat oil-controlling. Well, it's not. By late afternoon, I am oily and the tinted moisturizer becomes slick-looking and kind of separated. I can see that most of it is gone from my cheeks. So ultimately, I need to use a powder and probably a primer with this. I feel like that kind of just defeats my main reason for purchasing this. Nevertheless, on to the pics!
