Now, let’s get started!

Easy Foundation Routine

Ninety-nine percent of the time, foundation is the last thing I do, besides blush and everything that goes layered on top of it. I start by applying the Sephora Color Corrector in Melon under my eyes about halfway, and the Becca Concealer on the other half. As you can see, I also apply the concealer on spots where I need the most coverage. I have some major acne scarring going on so I apply it on those spots as well. I also highlight and refine my brows with Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer. Then, it’s time to blend.

I use a traditional foundation brush for blending out the color corrector and concealer. After blending, I take the Lancome Foundation Stick and “draw lines” on my forehead, cheeks and chin.

Note: if you are aiming for medium or light coverage, either apply the foundation on the brush (not directly on your face) or draw one line in the opposite direction (horizontally) instead of three vertical lines.

More blending! To blend everything in, I use the Sephora Pro Airbrush (55) brush.

Next, I set the foundation and concealer concoction with Ben Nye Banana Powder. I use an angled contour brush for this. I don’t generally “bake” or let the powder sit on my face; I pat on a light layer underneath my eyes and along my cheekbones all the way up to my temple, and brush it off almost immediately. I also use the powder in the middle of my forehead and on my chin and down the bridge of my nose.

That pretty much does it for foundation! For this look I chose Kiko Milano Double Deco Blush and Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Molasses

Et voila! I find the key to this taking as little time as possible is having the right tools. It takes me about 5 minutes to do this routine, if I’m not watching TV, singing, or dancing while doing it lol.

I’d love to hear about your routines!
