Bamboo, one of the strongest, natural materials and some of the fastest growing plants in the world. Does it translate over to hair? That was my question with Hask’s Bamboo Oil line.
It’s time to add strength training to your haircare routine! Fortify fragile hair and defend against damage and breakage with HASK Bamboo Oil Strengthening collection. The line features a Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Conditioner and Shine Oil, all formulated with ProDefense Complex that penetrates hair to strengthen, reinforce and protect.
Bamboo oil, known as one of Asia’s natural treasures, is proven to strengthen hair and deliver essential nutrients that revive weakened and lifeless strands. Combined with biotin and collagen, silicon-rich bamboo oil gives hair a strong foundation, improves flexibility and prevents split ends. So damage caused by every day styling is a thing of the past!
Alright, sounds good. But the one thing that sang the song of sweet joy to me for this line is the scent. It smells so good; so sophisticated and adult. People will definitely notice after you wash your hair with this.
The line includes a shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, and oil treatment. The line is very similar to the Macadamia Oil line I reviewed, as far as function. The shampoo and conditioner are my favorites of this bunch. The oil treatment is the most versatile in that it can be used on wet or dry hair. I prefer to use it on my natural hair dry though.
|Hask Bamboo Oil Strenghtening Collection|
I have used the line on my natural hair and on my extensions with great results. The shampoo leaves my scalp clean and doesn’t make my hair feel dry. The conditioner and the deep conditioner provides extra moisture and is instrumental in making my hair feel soft and more manageable. On my extensions, the conditioner makes the hair easier to detangle. and leaves it smelling amazing. The oil treatment is more effective for me on dry hair as my hair is naturally really dry and becomes more dry each day that passes. The oil treatment works as a great rejuvenator for bringing life back to my dried out locks.
I will continue to use the line to keep a look out for the claims it makes regarding strength, hopefully in the form of less shedding. The smell, on its own, will keep me committed to using it.
