I love a good lip stain. Whatever is on my lips, I want it to last all day. The J. Cat Beauty Liptitude 24/7 Hydrating Lip Stains ($5.99) certainly do not last all day, but they do leave behind a beautiful stain so that if you want, you can still appear as if you have color on your lips. In fact, these are some of the most pigmented stains I have ever used.
I purchased the colors Peekaboob, a cherry red, and Blow Your Mind, a barbie pink. Both colors apply pretty opaque and I only need to go over it again once. The stains come in a very small, plastic tube with a tiny wand. I’m not a huge fan of the applicator; I think it makes it harder to apply (or the packaging, but these were very affordable, so not so bad). Also worth mentioning is that these are a bit sticky and will transfer to your teeth (I know, awful) if you’re not careful. This, in fact, happened to me while I was on a date; I was horrified. They are moisturizing until you wipe them off. Once it’s acting as a stain, I find that my lip balm-dependent lips need some help.

Besides the problems I had with it getting on my teeth (it only happened once, so it hasn’t scared me away completely), this is a pretty solid product. They are also very affordable at $5.99 and I imagine will last forever.
