I find myself always drawn to purple and pink eyeshadows. A recent release from Kiko led me to the Kiko Milano Artist Stroke Mineral Loose Shadow ($8.00)! I swatched three colors and settled on Abstract Burgundy.

I haven’t had much luck with Kiko in the eyeshadow department as far as longevity goes, so I wasn’t really expecting a mind-blowing product. Honestly, the packaging drew me to these as well as the mineral loose eyeshadow part; there aren’t many loose eyeshadows that I have and use so I thought this might be something cute and dainty I could dress up or down. It has worked for that purpose.
I tried using my fingers to apply this but found it works better with a brush and primer, of course.

I used a taupe shadow to blend and lined my eyes with ColourPop Swerve. I found that even with primer, I still experience creasing by end of day, likely due to my oily ass eyelids.
Overall, I like the shadow but I have only used it once since I purchased it. It looks really pretty and I like the result, I’m just a product junkie! I’ve moved this to my vanity to get more use out of it.
