KIKO Velvet Mat Satin Lipstick | Strawberry Pink [612] Review

I like to use KIKO’s Velvet Mat Satin Lipstick in Strawberry Pink (612) for those days when I want a light an airy look, dressed down and somewhat casual, especially for work.

What drew me to it was the whole matte factor. I must say, for a matte lipstick, this applies very easily to the lips. It isn’t very long lasting though; it lasted for about three hours on me through coffee drinking. Reapplication throughout the day is necessary, which I don’t prefer, but I really like the color and how versatile this color is (it can be paired with pretty much any look).

I purchased this at the new KIKO store by my house for around $8-10, the typical price of a drugstore-like lipstick. I’m happy with the purchase but of all the colors they had there I ended  up leaving with this one, which isn’t very exciting. I am happy with my purchase, but I am not sure if I will be grabbing any more of these.
