I am a natural lash type of gal. When Esqido reached out to see if I’d like to try their luxury lashes, PB&J caught my eye! Esqido specializes in mink lashes, but for various reasons, I was more comfortable trying out PB&J, part of their new Unisyn Collection which they describe as “the world’s first true premium synthetic false eyelashes, made with a blend of ultra-fine synthetic fibres for an ultra-natural look.”
The PB&J lashes are one of two of their light volume lashes ($22.00). They have a handcrafted cotton band that’s thicker than what you would find on your average pair of false lashes. The lashes are long, light, and natural looking; everything I look for in false lashes. What’s a huge plus for me is that I didn’t even need to clip the band; the lashes fit perfectly on my lash line.
And here’s what my natural lashes look like:
I love that the lashes aren’t over-the-top; I’ve worn these lashes to work twice and I find them more dainty than the individual lashes I normally wear for a natural-looking lash. The band blends in nicely with my eyeliner, whether I am wearing a sleek, think line or a thick cat eye.
I was also able to try out the brand’s Companion Eyelash Glue ($10.00). For my oily lids, it’s incredibly hard to find a lash glue that will keep the corners of my lashes glued down all day. And by all day, I mean over 9 hours without lifting. The Esqido lash glue is clear and dries down clear, and does a pretty good job of keeping the lashes on. The brush tip applicator is nice for on-the-go touch-ups, which I almost always need to do, and is great for precision. I also enjoy the aesthetics of the white and rose gold packaging; it makes for increased joy for me.
High end lashes have been trending for quite some time now. If you’re in the market for long-lasting luxury lashes, I’d recommend Esqido. I’m looking forward to trying out their medium- and full-volume lashes.
