Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26.00) is the most moisturizing lipstick I have ever tried in my life. Sometimes, I have to stop and think hard about those bold statements when I make them; in this case I have no second thoughts about that statement when it comes to this lipstick and my naturally dry-ish lips!
My first experience with it was in my May Play! by Sephora box which included the color Kimchi. It’s quite pretty and I found it almost too moisturizing, if that’s even a thing! It’s definitely not something that’s a deal breaker for me. I’d rather have overly moisturized lips over dry chapped flaky lips any day. I didn’t have that problem with Molasses at all and it’s definitely a natural, nude lip for me, on the brown side of nude.
The tube itself is quite small, but you still get the average amount of lipstick in them. I also swatched four other colors before settling on Molasses.
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick
L to R: Pepper, Molasses, Chai, Nori, Whiskey
Molasses is an easy color to wear. Bite Beauty describes it as a “rich toffee.” I generally reach for this for work, but can easily be used for a classy night out. Like a normal tube of lipstick, it is transferable and lasts about 4 hours on me before I need to reapply. Recommended!
