I went to Jamaica and came back to everyone hollering about Beyonce’s new visual album, Lemonade. I haven’t seen it yet (will take care of that TONIGHT), but I thought it was totes approps to publish this review on the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick Queen Bee.

It’s crazy how quickly these sold out (and continue to be sold out on Sephora’s website). It appears to be available on the Too Faced cosmetics website, though.
I purchased two colors, Sell Out, which I actually prefer over Queen Bee. I find that Queen Bee, a matte soft mauve, looks a bit ashy on me. On a lot of lighter-toned people, it looks totally different and more pink.
Too Faced’s liquid lipsticks are so comfortable on my always-dry lips. The color goes on semi-opaque and I needed two coats to get full coverage lips. The color lasted on my all day long until having a delicious lobster roll. I see myself mixing this with something darker to even out the color better.
