The Estee Lauder Pure Envy Liquid Lip Potion (regularly $32.00 but on sale for $16.00) is definitely worth a try! I noticed these on sale a few weeks ago, and snagged the shade Extreme Nude, which at first sounds off-putting, but it’s actually very pretty. It’s a pinky-beige (on my skin tone) and is absolutely beautiful on my skin tone. I often reach for it these days.
My skin type
My lips are really, really dry and often peel when I don’t douse them in lip balm. I tried this liquid lipstick with and without lip balm. It is slightly moisturizing on it’s own.
How I use it
The lipstick has a doe foot applicator that’s firm with a pointy tip which leads to a more precise application. I use two coats for opaque coverage.
What I like about it
I love the shade and that I took the chance to try it out. It’s one of the more comfortable liquid lipsticks on the market. The packaging is sleek and sophisticated as well.
What could be better
This won’t be a deal-breaker for most but it transfers. It transfers on to cups and will rub off while eating. It’s also got an average wear-time of about five hours, while most liquid lipsticks I own last much longer than that. I think the trade-off here is how comfortable it is.
