10 Anti-Aging Eye Creams for More Youthful Eyes

I am officially on the hunt for a new eye cream! I have been neglecting my eye area for a while now; I decided to stop spending my money on something I would eventually need to go get fillers for. I have it in my mind that there’s nothing out there that doesn’t include a needle that’s going to get rid of the bags underneath my eyes. I still feel that way, however, I have been noticing smile lines and crow’s feet for some time now. I know if I want those to be non-existent I’ll have to go under a needle, but I’m ready to experiment with eye creams again. Here are 10 that I’m choosing from:

1. Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate ($44.00)

I got a sample of this once after buying a bunch of other stuff and I remember thinking my eye area felt very firm and taut.

From the brand:

  • An effective line reducing eye treatment for brighter, younger-looking eyes
  • Contains a potent concentration of Pure Vitamin C 10.5%, known for its affinity with skin and powerful ability to improve the appearance of aging skin.
  • Contains Haloxyl, which strengthens, soothes and brightens the eye area, helping to eliminate dark circles.

IngredientsPropylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Ascorbic Acid, Glycerin, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Aqua/Water, Lauroyl Lysine, Acrylates Copolymer, Escin, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Adenosine, Citrus Amara/Bitter Orange Flower Extract, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Hydroxysuccinimide, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Chrysin, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7

2. Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream ($45.00-65.00)

This one has more filler-like ingredients than I’d like but the claims are grandiose enough I’m willing to at least consider it.

From the brand:

Smile. Now eyes get a second chance to look young. See your entire eye area visibly improved starting in 4 weeks. Then, we went beyond our usual clinical testing and invented a unique test to prove ‘smile lines’ around eyes disappear by 54% in 12 weeks.

3. MAC Fast Response Eye Cream ($32.00)

This one surprised me; I like the description but I’m still on the fence about it.

From the brand: A super-charged, caffeinated cream that produces instant effects. De-puffs, erases the appearance of dark circles, and firms the skin around the eye. Special optical diffusers diminish the appearance of fine lines.

Gosh, this one is pricey but I find it appealing based on the ingredients. I am also skeptical based on the ingredients! Perhaps this is a good one to get a sample of before buying.

From the brand: Complete age-defying eye treatment with a soft-focus luminescence using real diamond dust for a highlighting effect. Instantly illuminates the look of the eye area. Minimizes the appearance of crow’s feet and wrinkles. Reduces appearance of puffiness, dark shadows and fatigue.
