Double Trouble: KIKO Miami Beach Babe Collection | Double Deco Blush (Kissimmee) | Deco Delight Lipstick (Mango Twist)

Angela from Beauty and the Cat brought this cute little collection to my attention so I asked her to tag-team this one with me. Funny story is that I was actually in Miami at the Lincoln Road Mall location when I picked these up. The collection wasn’t available at the store near my house when I first heard about it so I was quite surprised to see it in Miami. I gazed over the selection and ended up picking up the Double Deco Blush in Kissimmee (03) (Kissimmee is actually near Orlando, not sure why they chose this town) and the Deco Delight Lipstick in Mango Twist (05)!

The lipstick took some work to get the color payoff I wanted; not so for Angela. She found it smooth, balmy, not drying, and buildable. That was a different story for me. I’m not a huge fan of a sheer lip and the lipstick swatched sheer and glossy on me (and pretty :-)). In the photo below, that’s about 10-12 swipes on my arm. Also, the little studs on the lipstick don’t really do anything; they’re just there for decoration and rubbed off when I swatched it. I tested that in the swatch to the right in the photo below.

Kiko says:

Shiny, wet-look lipstick decorated with contrasting polka dots.
The formula containing the most advanced oils melts onto the lips for a soft and shiny look. The lipstick awakens the senses, leaving your lips feeling wonderful.
The supple texture with bright, semi-sheer pigments brings out the smile’s sensuality. The colour is buildable.Gently fragranced with a vanilla aroma.

I really like the blush most of all. It’s actually a bronzer/blush duo and both the bronzer and blush are very pigmented; way more than the Kiko Soft Touch blush I got in Classic Rose. In the swatch on me below, that’s only two swipes and the bronzer is one swipe.

Double Trouble:

As far as the blush is concerned, tread lightly! The bronzer is beautiful and has some shimmer in it, which I love. Angela, on the other hand, prefers her bronzer matte and cooler-toned so she opted to wear this on her eyes! Very pretty! The blush fades throughout the day on both of us, but is still visible by the end of the day.

Kiko says:

Blush with a silky and melting texture. Combines two shades in a single product to achieve different make-up effects.
The formula’s mixture of pearls and pigments captures and reflects the light, giving the cheeks a natural and radiant finish. The porcelain flower extract contained in the blush protects the skin.

These should be available in a Kiko store if you have one near you. As soon as I got back home and went to the mall, I saw they finally brought the collection to our store.
