I have been experimenting with my Fiona Stiles purchases and have a review of the lipstick.
My skin type
My lips are moderately dry on their own. I use lip balm before almost every lip product.
How I use it
The lip crayon glides on with incredible ease; there is no pulling or patchiness. The color payoff, a bright, vibrant red, that’s opaque with one swipe is absolutely beautiful and long-lasting. There was no indication of the crayon tip breaking, leading me to believe in its durability. I can wear the color through eating and drinking without having to reapply.
What I like about it
I love that this is a high quality lipstick at an affordable price. Now, I purchased it for $4.00 but even at its regular price of $16.00, I would say that the price is fair especially since there are more expensive lipsticks out there that do not perform as well as this one. I love everything else I mentioned before about the lipstick.
What could be better
The only critical thing I can say about this lipstick is that it’s not a soft coral on me. It doesn’t look soft coral online either, but the color description (according to the Ulta website) is way off. This is a true tomato-like red on me. Perhaps that’s just an error on their part.
Joy Factor
On a scale of 1-10, this lip crayon is a 9! The brand doesn’t appear to be sold legitimately any other place besides Ulta, so if Ulta is truly discontinuing the line, I hope they are able to sell their products on their own site. This is definitely a brand worth checking out.
