I recently decided to treat myself to some things I’ve had my eye on after refraining from beauty shopping for some time. Here’s what I picked up:
I indulged in happy hour this past Friday and it was outside. It was gloriously hot and sunny and I picked up this mask thinking about how I only put on sunscreen in the morning and I probably should have reapplied. I’ll be using this soon. It’s supposed to hydrate and rejuvenate your skin after sun exposure.
I have had my eye on this setting powder for a few weeks now. I’ve heard nothing but good reviews so I decided to see how it fared. I bought this mainly because I was lured by the SPF 45! Setting powder and sun protection! I’m intrigued. I bought the darkest shade – Deep.
I spent some time in Sephora testing out this pomade. I thought it would be similar to Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Dip Brow, but it’s not; it reminds me more of the Make Up For Ever Aqua Brow more than that. The only thing they have in common is the jar. Kat’s is way more pigmented and much more creamy. I picked up the shade Granite after some trial and error; funny that’s my shade is Dip Brow as well. Enjoy some swatches.
The trip to Nordstrom happened because it started storming and I left my umbrella at work. I was surprised to see the Karl Lagerfeld + ModelCo Collection in my Nordstrom a day after launch! I ended up picking up a liquid lipstick, but I think I’ll go back for the gloss I swatched to. It’s gorgeous!
I picked this up out of curiosity; to see how it compares to the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer. I’ve worn it two days in a row and I have some THOUGHTS! I picked up the shade Hazelnut. Full review coming soon.
