I have always said that the Sephora Collection was underrated. I stand by that statement and bring you swatches of their newest Make No Mistake Foundation and Concealer Stick ($20.00) and the High Coverage Concealer ($14.00). The concealer is definitely high coverage and more liquid based while the foundation is actually a foundation stick. It was a pretty thick cream and I can’t wait to try one of each. I suspect my shade in the foundation would likely be Mahogany. I’d use the concealer as a spot concealer (Allspice) or under the eyes (Anise).
The foundation was of a formula that I don’t currently own in a makeup stick so I am more excited to try that. I’d also like to see how the concealer compares to my beloved Becca Ultimate Coverage Cream. I cannot fail to give Sephora props on the darkest shades available. I remember in the not so distant past my shade being the darkest they offered so I am happy to see them listening to the suggestions of POC for being more inclusive. I mean, it’s no Fenty Beauty, but I see you, Sephora and thank you for making an effort. Stay tuned for reviews because I am definitely picking these up.
