Can I get a prince to marry? No? Well, in the meantime, lay your eyes on the gorgeous Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Royal Glow from Becca.
I thought the title of this issue of The Atlantic was perfect for this photo, although one has nothing to do with the other! |
My skin type
Oily; cheeks are textured from tiny ice pick scars I am trying to get rid of.
What it’s supposed to do
From the brand: Comprised of BECCA’s proprietary mineral pearl blend, the iconic formula is enriched with ultra-fine luminescent pearls that absorb, reflect and refract light to amplify your natural radiance to create the perfect glow.
How I use it
I find the best application is to use a fan brush to apply because it picks up the right amount. Anything else, I’d say use a light hand as it’s very pigmented, quite metallic, and easy to overdo.
What I like about it
My heart fluttered when I used it. I definitely had the Royal Wedding in mind when I was applying, as it was the very next day which made the experience even better. Becca proves that you can be gimmicky and timely without being cheesy and useless. I love it!
What could be better
It’s absolutely beautiful! The only complaint I can even muster, which isn’t even a complaint, is that because the packaging is so heavy (luxurious IMO), it creates a problem when you open the compact all the way and the compact tips over.
