These New Luxury Beauty Finds Are Giving Me Major Fomo!

I always have my eyes open in the beauty world, scoping out new products, or just plain lusting over products i happen to come across. Lately, there are a few in the luxury beauty world that are giving me some major FOMO! Don’t be surprised if you see one of these up for review in the near future! 😩

Burberry Fresh Glow Highlighter – White Gold

Burberry describes this as an effortless, subtle highlighter that illuminates your features where natural light would normally hit it. Totally sounds like me. Have you seen my post on Topshop’s white highlighter? It isn’t as scary as I thought it would be and has given me the courage to try others. Why not Burberry’s?

La Mer Bronzing Powder

I don’t own anything La Mer, and there’s a good reason for that: the brand is overwhelmingly expensive… I know them for their $300 creams that many celebrities swear by. When I came across this beautiful bronzer, that’s only $85 by the way, my eyebrows raised, and my mind started calculating! Now, that’s still a lot of money for a bronzer but it’s a nice little push into the brand.

It is a limited edition item, so if you want it, better go get it. I have seen this bronzer before so perhaps every now and again it makes a comeback. I, myself, am really into bronzer, so this is quite intriguing to me. Cannot stop looking at it!

YSL Touche Eclat White Strobing Pen

I am a fan of YSL’s Touche Elcat. I am a long-time user of the regular touche eclat brighter and their color correctors. This white strobing pen is interesting to be because they don’t call it a highlighter, they call it a brightener that brings “high-impact glow to your complexion.” My eye bags make me feel like I look like I am always tired; I have had people tell me I look tired, especially if I don’t wear any makeup. For me, anything to brighten up that area of my face is a plus! I feel like they are really good at that so if there’s anything on this list I pick up, it’s this!

YSL Touche Eclat Glow Shot

Now YSL is calling this a liquid highlighter: “the ultra-fine illuminating micro pearls give your skin a beautiful glow without the glitter effect.” It can be used on its own all over your face, to certain areas of your face, or mixed in with your favorite foundation. It’s got hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and it’s got my attention! Not that I’m recanting my previous statement, but this one just feels like something I must have as well. You see why the FOMO is real? My regular attempts at talking me out of beauty purchases don’t work here: I don’t have many liquid highlighter and I certainly don’t think I have one this color. Speaking of, YSL says Sunset is good for dark skin tones, Sunrise on Medium skin tones, and Daylight on lighter skin tones.

Skin Yoga Green Tea Face Mask

Man… I like everything about this product. I don’t even know if it works! It’s inspired from Japanese skincare, is all-natural, vegan, and halal. and is supposed to control acne, slow wrinkles and aging, and act as a natural sun guard. Now some of those claims are questionable, but I have never used a green tea mask, and it’s had my interest for at least a month. What’s stopping me, you ask? It seems overpriced… for something that kind of sounds like you can make in your kitchen, I find it expensive at $46.00. Meh… I’m positive the longer I look at it the more I will talk myself into buying.

Ingredients: Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Meal, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) powder, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Powder, Azadirachta Indica (Neem) Leaf Powder.

Hannes Dottir Seamasque

I’m sorry? What is this? Who? Yeah, when I saw this I asked the same thing. You guys. This is a kelp sea mask and I am into it. I’m aware it probably stinks. But I don’t care. Look at it! And guess what? Only 6 ingredients: Certified Organic Icelandic Sea Kelp, Vegetable Glycerin, Honey, Alum Crystal, Tincture Of Iodine, Oil Of Spearmint.

The brand claims after only one use, your skin will look  tighter and younger, softer and smoother. I haven’t found any meaningful reviews on it either, which kind of makes me want to get it more. I just imagined myself in front of my steamer with this thing. Yeah. FOMO for real.

Givenchy Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder

This one was a last minute addition. And it probably will be one of those barely there looking powders on me, but it sure is pretty. I would love to get my hands on this, just to at least swatch it. It looks awfully familiar too.
