A constant in makeup
Too Faced Better Than Sex Liquid eyeliner. I bought it last month in Miami and I have been using it every day I wear makeup since then.
Scent I’ve been reaching for
Maison Margiela Jazz Club. For several years now! I can’t believe how consistent I am with that. It just smells so good.
Nails
They’ve been bare and brittle. I had a phase of where I was experimenting with gel nails at home, and I basically thinned out my nails. Plus I’ve been too busy to do anything with them at all.
My next beauty purchase
I need more moisturizer. I’ve been thinking about repurchasing the Farmacy Beauty Honey Halo moisturizer. Jumbo. Still pondering
It’s time to retire
I thought about clearing out my entire skin care cabinet. There’s some stuff in there that’s been in there for at least five years.
Most recent discovery
A new Diptyque store nearby! They’ve been open in Georgetown for just under two months!
Beauty rant
I honestly haven’t been paying that much attention. I just find myself more interested in other things.
Impulsive buy
I’ve been pretty good about buying impulsive beauty items. Most of my impulsive purchases have been for my new kitty, Miss Cleo.
I’ve rediscovered
Peloton yoga. Denis Morton and Anna Greenberg are my go-to’s
Curious about
Retinol. I’m afraid of the purges, though.
Hair wins
I’ve found some products to fix my flaky, scabby scalp issues and two moisturizers that I’m really pleased with. More on that soon.
What I need, not what I want
As mentioned before, facial moisturizers but I’ll also add that I need to lose some weight. This COVID weight is affecting my mental and physical health. I’m working on that but not sure if I want to share that journey.
Slacking off on
Finishing House of the Dragon. I know it’s good but I’ve just been putting it off for some reason. I hope they’ve already started filming the next season!
Obsessing over
I can’t get enough of the GapFit Breathe Boatneck Tops. I wear these things everywhere, and I mean everywhere. They’re great for working out, great casually with a pair of jeans, and great as a layering piece for when it’s cold out.
Destination
I’ve got trips to West Virginia and Costa Rica in the works. I’ve never been to either place so I’m excited!
