My skin type

Oily; I typically wear a full face of makeup and this cleansing oil is great at removing it all.

What it’s supposed to do

It’s a Japanese cleansing oil and is supposed to remove makeup and sunscreen.

See the above label; I threw it out the English label that was taped over the back of the bottle. The back of the actual bottle is in Japanese.

How I use it

It’s on the thinner side so I use three pumps of this on dry hands and rub it all over my face. I take extra time for my eyelashes to remove mascara and waterproof makeup. Once I see that all my makeup has dissolved, I rinse off and follow up with a second cleanser.

How long I used it

I’ve been using this cleansing oil for almost four months and I’m about halfway through the bottle.

What I like about it

I like that it removes every trace of my makeup, even waterproof with some work, and that’s all I ever wanted out of a cleansing oil. I also really love the sleek bottle and packaging. It’s completely transparent but pink. It faintly smells of some kind of sweet, fruity substance and I like it. Also, It doesn’t irritate my eyes when I open them.

What could be better

I don’t dislike anything about the product, it does what it’s supposed to do; I received it as a Christmas gift from Angela and Renee and I’m sure it was purchased in LA where these things can be found! Otherwise this cleansing oil is incredibly hard to find stateside. Hell, it’s even hard to find on the internet! Such a shame, too because it ticks all of my boxes!

Joy Factor

(Me trying to find this cleansing oil on the internets)

Where to indulge

Go to Japan and you might be able to find it. In the meantime, here are some other cleansing oils I’ve tried.
