The Jeju Volcanic Lava Clay Mask Pack from The Face Shop is a pretty good mask. My absolute favorite part of it is the packaging; it comes in a metal pump can so that when you need product, you don’t have to dip your fingers in anything. For me, dipping my hand in jars of clay is a minor annoyance because anything I have to dip my fingers in gets under my nails and it’s hard to get it all out. So I am a fan of the packaging, first and foremost.
I generally use clay masks once or twice every two weeks to, in my head, unclog my pores and let my face breathe. The Face Shop does a really good job of getting me to come back to this mask. In addition to the packaging, this a thinner clay mask, and doesn’t take much product to cover your entire face. It also dries down so fast; another plus. Three is certainly a charm with this mask, as I don’t have anything bad to say about it.
This cushiony, whipped cream-like mousse mask with Keju Volcanic Ash goes on smooth and helps remove devris from the pores. All-new formula leaves skin moisturized without that dry, tight feeling. -from TheFaceShopNY.com
The mask smells like your average clay mask, and not too strong. I left it on for about 20 minutes before washing it off and it left my skin relatively soft and not all dried out. I have oily skin and usually, the feeling of drying out my face is invited, but I can definitely appreciate when I can be properly moisturized and not feel overwhelmed.
I did notice the lack of availability of it here in the states. I received this as part of a care package from my sister, but I have only been able to find it on The Face Shop NY site for $25 and on Amazon from an international seller for a little bit over $18 with free shipping.

It's legit my favorite thing. Unclogs my pores right on up!
This post reminded me of where to get it from! I had one from Innisfree but it just didn't "seem" right. The other beauty brands have the Jeju Volcanic lines but nobody does it like The Face Shop.
