Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold: The Perfect Highlighter For Me

Now here’s a highlighter I don’t use often but should. I had waited quite some time to get my hands on Charlotte Tilbury’s Bar of Gold ($42.00). It’s likely one of the best highlighters out there in my opinion, for the simple fact that when you wear it, it doesn’t look like your face fell in love with Midas. It’s super fine and nicely buildable if Midas is your thing.

Very classy, Charlotte.

I love the idea of the packaging but I do wish it came in a hard casing, especially for the price. The current casing feels like some sort of cardboard/plastic material. That doesn’t take away from the actual product though, I just think it would be prettier and the price point would be justified more with a hard casing or something more classy like her Eyes to Mesmerise line.

The powder is so fine and light; I use a tapered blush brush to apply this. I love that it doesn’t go on heavy and you can build it up to be as glisteny as you want it.

As much as I highly recommend this highlighter, it appears to be sold out everywhere! I was able to pick this up on Beautylish months ago but it has since sold out. They sent me an email when they restocked this so I suggest you sign up for their emails if you’re interested in this highlighter.
