Sooooo much better than the Matte Lip Glow! I just had to start this post off by saying that because if you recall, I was not impressed with the matte version of the Dior Lip Glows. In defense of the Lip Glow, prior to trying the matte version, I hadn’t tried any other Lip Glows. Very happy that this one is much more hydrating! I picked up the shade Raspberry, described as “raspberry pink with a pearly finish.”

My skin type
My lips are pretty dry on their own and become chapped without lip balm. I did not use lip balm prior to using this, as I wanted to test how moisturizing it was.
What it’s supposed to do
From the brand:
The “Color & Glow” dual action:
– Color Reviver technology enhances color for a boosted rosy effect to match any skin tone.
-Light-reflecting pearlescent pigments intensify glow.
How I use it
I just slather it on. With this one, I like more of a fuller-coverage than just a hint of color. These aren’t meant to be traditional lipsticks, which I am finding appealing more and more.
What I like about it
I love how easy it is; it goes with everything. It’s perfect for work, perfect for play, and I definitely see myself getting loads of use out of this. It’s pretty moisturizing on it’s own. After about four hours, my lips do start getting chapped, though, so either prep your lips beforehand or use a regular lip balm as a base. Speaking of prep, the Lip Glow to the Max is very forgiving to already chapped lips. I didn’t use anything beforehand and this did a great job at moisturizing and didn’t show any flakes.
What could be better
Seems like all the shades in the range have a pearlescent finish, which I love, don’t get me wrong, but I’d love to see these in more of a satin finish. Other than that, no complaints about the product itself!
