Well maybe not sliced bread. But pretty damn close.
When I was a child, I learned to take a bath with a washcloth and a bar of soap. As the years went by, I started using loofahs. I stuck with loofahs for a long time. But I always had that nostalgic feeling of missing the feeling of extreme cleanliness after scrubbing your body with a washrag. There’s just nothing else that makes you feel cleaner.
A few years ago, I went to the body shop and came across the Body Polisher ($5.00). The first time I used it, I thought man, this is rough. But after being in the shower about five minutes I realized how glorious this thing was. I use a body wash with it and it soaps up pretty good. I have also used bar soap with it and it got just as soapy. Upon first scrub, it is borderline uncomfortable. But when has exfoliating ever been comfortable?
Bottom line is I love this cloth. It’s very long so you can reach behind and scrub your entire back. This is the closest thing to a washcloth I am willing to wash myself with– it’s a plus that it exfoliates. And makes you feel soooooooooo clean! The result? Bliss and very soft skin. Follow up with your favorite lotion and you are good to go.
So I change this thing often, so you’d have to be willing to spend the $5 every so often for it.
